Hey guys, i'd like to map again.
I don't have any ideas and don't want to spend as much effort as in mp_the_extreme_v2.
I don't want to make one of these standard galaxy maps because they're pretty.. idk, they are nothing special.
Does anyone here have got ideas for jumps/map design? Would be nice

Something bright would be nice. So many maps release with the same galaxy-esque skyboxes and dark colours which are pretty boring to play imo.
If you don't want to make something big, maybe make a minimap with two ways or something?

Could also include some new tech/script ideas (even if they're gimmicks) for fun.

Maybe check some of FrisbeeSky's novels threads, some helpful ideas in them.
He also made a few massive Google Sheet/Docs that could help.

When I heard he was making that map. I was rly excited since Im pretty big stalker (Have all games of the franchise bought + will buy STALKER 2 when it comes out in 2021)
Yea, its sad becuz its really detailed and spot on recreation of Rostok. But also lot of detailing means need of high performance, meaning lower end pc players aint getting great fps to complete the ways

Yep my 2012 pc had no problems running this game with 1k fps. No idea how ppl can still claim that as a critical flaw of a map.
Then when you make your map more simple its instantly labeled as lazy and uninspired even if you didn't even touch bouncebuilder and my god if you did then you might as well throw your map down the bin cuz its gonna get hated alot. Nowdays ppl are just reaching for problems in maps cuz they got nothing else to do.
Arkani just do what u wanna do man, I would avoid taking huge design ideas from ppl who have never touched radiant before and know nothing about mapping.
We are getting maybe 5 maps every year max so pretty much any map will do for atleast most of us.

There for sure is someone who does have the problems, even I used to get max 250 (fullbright on) like weeks back until got new system
