Cod4 FPS Capped at 10

have you tried changing your config completly? if you have installed cod4 instead of just moving the files it could be that your players folder is at some weird point in appdata or so, ik windows 10 does that for some people

check if you do not have a modded .exe -> which mostlikely uses con_maxfps

try set con_maxfps to your desired fps. might work

As Viruz mentioned, Windows 10 adds limitations to FPS in Cod4 for some people, me being one of them... I had to install Cod4x to uncap my FPS.

yes win10 seem to cap often around 500-600 fps but 10 fps is strange, try to change the profile not from game directory but from appdata>local>????
also cod4x could help

is your netflix app open?

The 8700k is a performance monster. Even on the internal gfx card, you should be able to play the game with at least 105 fps.

Are you sure that you haven't plugged in your toaster?

It's weird that disabling the internal card works because you had 200 fps in battlefield.

Anyway, I'm glad that you can play again.
