Hi. I want play KTK in your server but I can't somehow my download speed gets stuck at 10-12 kps I don't have this problem with other servers.. If someone can help me it would be awesome.
PS: I am using Macbook Pro.. Maybe because of that?!?!

Yeah I think it's because of the Mac...
(cf this : Mod download bug on Mac CoD4 )Though the link is dead and there is no possibility to download the mods outside of the game as far as I know. I may upload the ktk mod somehwere in the future but I don't have time for this these days. Maybe someone else could do it more quickly.

So I'm having the same on my windows 8 pc, the maps .ff files only download at tops 12kps.. I've googled quite a bit and I found this thread on google so I'm reopening it now
Can I download all dr maps or maybe some dr maps from a direct link?
Or does any1 have a solution for this problem, because I've been struggling with this for a while now, and have always left servers when I had to download again.. -
do you use the normal cod4 client or the version of the iceops clan?

Lol i had this probleme a loooong time ago and i never complained about it XD
Well all you have to do is quit cod4 from the taskbar while it's downloading the map or mod then immidiatly launch cod again and go back to the server, the down speed will come back to normal.
I do that everytime i download a map
Ps: this bug is only related with 3'xp servers.
