guys when i see hacker i first tb him so next time if he come and use hack again then i pb and with demo ofc i always give second chances to hackers i will give you an example Radish was using wh and after a tb next time i spoke with him he said that he is not going to use wh again and yes he dont do it anymore and that was a long time ago just sayn

As HD said, he was still using WH, I permbanned him, and HD recorded several demos.
That's why hackers shouldn't be given a second chance. I'd say 90% of the time they'll do it again. Indeed they will be careful, and stop using it as soon as they see you or suspect someone is spectating them though.

You're not obliged to permban if you don't want to, but I believe that's what everyone should do with hackers (and that's what our rules advise to do). If you're 100% sure he's hacking, indeed. And recording a demo can avoid any kind of "complain about ban in forum". Well it doesn't avoid it, but you just show the demo proving the hack and we're done :P

You took the time to write a nice app even though we already know you and you would have been accepted with a smaller app, I like that :P

Add me on xfire (ufaced) and hit me up when you see me online so I can come and set your rank.

    Welcome back ;)

    for deathrun it's pretty simple:
all other events apart from hacking = kick

No, some things (especially when repeated) require a tempban. A kick is almost nothing, at most you "lose" a round. But you just type /reconnect and you're fine... Even a 10 min tempban is a lot more annoying already. If someone keeps trolling (blocking an elevator for instance) after 1 or 2 kicks, he should be tempbanned. Otherwise he'll just never stop.

i prefer not using the warn fuction but for warning you can send a server note / personal message to this player( if this is a new player )

Why don't you like the warn function? It doesn't do anything bad. I agree a verbal warning without using the command can be enough as well, so I don't care if people use the !warn command or not, but at least the command makes the warning "official" (the person warned will know he's been warned by a player with perms and not just by a random player, which can be useful for trusted players who don't have the 3xP' tag, or even to know you've been warned by a real member and not a faker).
Edit: Just noticed you talked about a "server note". Well that makes it official too ^^ Though I still don't see why you dislike the warn function :P You can just use it once then kick, you're not obliged to warn twice, resulting in a tb.

    Btw, edited the punishments thread.

Nice app, only good feedback, from what I've seen in-game, good behavior, and you're skilled so I think you're able to differentiate a cheater from a skilled player.

I think the group set command is currently still not useable though, so you'll surely have to wait a bit before I can set your rank.

Anyway, congratz and welcome to the trusted team

So what's up with this app? Everything looks good to me :)

Btw if you're not sure about TS activity or other stuff there is still the trial period, if you think he doesn't fulfill the requirements afterwards, he can be set as trusted1 instead of member I guess.

App looks good. Now if you could get some feedback by a few members/trusted players, that would help. You can ask them to review your app when you see them in game, though don't spam them or insist too much, no one likes that and that may end up in a negative feedback.

    #Declined.

As Viruz is on no, and you play mostly on CJ (and dr), and you didn't get positive feedback, I have to decline your app.
You will be able to apply again in the future (in at least a few months) if you feel like things have changed between you and admins/members on CJ. Though if Viruz is still against your app, it will be declined again.

    Hi rockky,

Thank you for your interest in our community. The reason why you haven't had an answer is that you haven't had any feedback from trusted players/members or any other player I know well. As I stated in the edit of the requirement thread (CoD4 Trusted player application - Read before applying), this is the only way for me to know more about your behavior as I myself rarely go on the server now.

    EDIT: !!!IMPORTANT!!!
Before applying, make sure that you're known on the server by at least a few members or trusted players. It will help you a lot, because as I myself play CoD4 very rarely now (as well as other admins), I won't be able to judge your in-game behavior. If your application is incredibly nice and good, I will maybe accept you without external feedback, but if it's just average, like most other applications, I'll need feedback from people I trust.
If no one gives feedback on your app, it's very likely that we won't be able to accept you in the trusted group. Your application may remain open for several weeks though, so you have the time to gather feedback if needed.

You wrote your app before I wrote this edit so you couldn't know that. But as you can see now, I can't accept your app without feedback.

I can let the thread open if you wish, to see if you can manage to get more people to answer here to give feedback.
Or if you prefer, I can start a poll (in which only members will be able to vote). Though if not enough people vote, it means you're not "known" enough, and your application will be rejected (I need at least 4 positive votes and 75% yes to accept your app).

    Sorry for the late answer.[/quote]

I just thought it is common sense not to suicide as activator :P

I think so too, but not everyone has the same "common sense", some people would ban where some others would simply kick or warn for instance, or some would kick for a glitch while some others wouldn't. That's why I think it's needed to regroup all rules somewhere (and punishments too).

Remember to set the rejected banner =).

Well I said I'd close and reject it in 2 days :P That's why I didn't put the "rejected" banner ^_^ But actually I don't really care, if Ons hadn't written his post in the last 24 hours, I'd have rejected it directly.

    Hi bernatman,

Thank you for your interest in our community. Your application looks nice; however, as I stated in the edit of the requirement thread (CoD4 Trusted player application - Read before applying.

You wrote your app before I wrote this edit so you couldn't know that. But as you can see now, I can't accept your app without feedback. I'll let your app running if you wish to try to get feedback though.

    Sorry for the late answer.

Well to me someone writing a two-lines sentence and not even coming back once in 4 days to check how things are going, just shows a big lack of interest.

If he doesn't write smth here in the next 2 days (and edit his app with all the required info), I'll close and reject the app.

    Hello Mo!,

I actually didn't reply because you didn't get any other feedback, so I can't choose as I'm almost never in game so I can't judge your behavior.
Actually I wanted to reject your app right after I saw deleted User post, but I was on phone and decided to write the answer later, but after that you edited your post and it didn't look bad, so I decided to let the application running and see if you could get positive feedback.

So first, I can't accept your application right now because of the lack of feedback.

Secondly, there is a something that bothers me a bit in your application:

I believe I have what it takes to be a Trusted Member because I know how to put things back in place for example: If someone is being rude or racist, a ban would be the result.

CoD4 - Punishments for rule breakers

I know this thread didn't exist at the time you wrote your app, but now please take a look at it: As you can see (rule #2), directly banning someone for being rude is too harsh of a punishment. So please be aware of the kind of punishment that should be inflicted in which case.

Anyway, now just tell me what you prefer: A vote, or I let your app open longer and you try to get more feedback.

    - A statement saying that you read and agreed with all these rules/threads:

    Hey Aurel :)

I don't see a problem at all with you becoming a trusted player, since you're actually already "friend" which is kinda equivalent to trusted1.
Though you didn't provide the statement asked in the requirement thread that I quoted above, and I'd like you to read those threads and tell me if you agree with everything, as these threads didn't exist at the time when you stopped playing.

After you've said you've read and agreed, you'll be accepted and set to trusted1 :)

Dat Wingzy, always says it's better to keep things changing (like the musics on dr), but prefers to keep the old logo :D

I prefer the new one a lot more personally.
