    Trusted player is a rank you get on ALL 3xP' servers, not one. Hence you don't apply for one specific servers but for all.


    You need to have a very good behavior to be trusted player, because you need to show the exemple to all players on the server.


    Breaking the rules all the time is obviously a BAD behavior, and a player who has this behavior CAN'T be trusted player.
    You say you did it because it was fun to be kicked by rockky. Regardless of the fact that I don't see anything fun in this, you also got kicked for glitching/going out of the map, by: |HD|, !nYpk!, 3xP' Kurosaki. Your argument is invalid.


    The time you've played on our server doesn't mean anything. There are plenty of players who've played for months or years on our servers, they're still assholes.


    To be a trusted player you also need to speak English well enough, and be able not to get mad as soon as something you don't like happens. Those are clearly requirements you don't meet as well.


    Now I'll ask you not to apply for trusted again, and to stop posting messages if it's just to whine. Constructive complaints are welcome, but plain whining is useless.
    And this "application" doesn't look like an application at all (and is missing basically all the required info).

  • [KTK] Map removal

    Removed lolzor2.


    I didn't like it anymore as well, though no one gave an actual complaint about it, and it seemed to be rather popular, so I decided to let it in the rotation (I had decreased its appearance in the vote a lot in the past already though).


    About laugh, it has never been in the rotation, there was a time (when I first uploaded it on the gameserver) when it was voted a lot by trusted players/members because it was new, but it has been a long time that no one played on it as far as I know. We might see it again a bit more in the future, as the voting feature works again, though I doubt it will ever be played a lot or even regularly.


    About slide, well what can I say, I really like it :D Some may think it doesn't go well with the KTK gameplay, but I think it actually has a unique gameplay which can fit the mod. It's almost only running around (sometimes a bit camping at the top, I admit^^), and assassins can just wait on the lower platforms to snipe guards running down, and you can also do some pretty nice kills while sliding down and shooting at the same time :D
    Anyway it's played a lot more than it used to, it's not even in the top 5 played maps (cf gametracker). I think it should stay, it changes from other maps, isn't a pain in the ass like lolzor2 can be for example, and it's not overly played.


    About lolzor, it definitely needs to stay. It only appears in the vote when under 10 people are on the server. So when there are many people, bigger and better maps are chosen.
    What is awesome about lolzor is that it always gives a huge population boost to the server, but in the same time, the map almost never lasts long. So we can really use it to get more people on the server quickly and play on bigger and better maps :P


    I know many small/medium maps are played a lot, and they are not the best for the mod. However, IMO KTK is fun with a lot of people. I'd rather play (most of the time) with 30 people on Nuketown than with 15 people on waldcamp.
    Also almost always at night our server is the one who still is populated while others are already empty. So the map rotation (which is based on the number of players online) is good I think. Indeed it cannot please everyone :/
    The more our server gets populated, the more bigger maps will be played. Server population seems to be increasing these days also, so that's good :P


    Btw if you have any suggestions for new maps, you're very welcome to post them here: Kill the King - New maps suggestions
    Big maps will only show up when a lot of people are online, so all sizes are welcome, but small/medium maps would be good (played more often for now).

    Don't apologize for "the trouble", there's absolutely no trouble, constructive suggestions are always welcome. Also your English may not be the best, but it's totally comprehensible.
    And you were very clear.


    This problem actually annoys me as well and I reported it to Viking (the mod maker) some time ago, but sadly I think he didn't fix it. At least it's not in his changelog of the update.


    I think I'll give him the link to this thread or at least your screenshot, because I think it explains it very well, and you noticed more stuff than me (actually I almost only use the xp one ^^). Because yeah it'd be far better if the choices were "permanent".


    I can't fix it myself, I have no idea how to do it as I have no experience with modding/scripting.


    I hope Viking will fix it sooner or later :D

    Exactly. I don't see why you wrote that post in the first place, first it's off-topic as well, and second it's absolutely not your role to tell this. If admins feel it's needed, they'll say it themsleves.

    What I'm wondering now is, from when is this pic? I'm not playing enough on DR so idk, but isn't this from before the mod name changed, and no one got his levels back?


    Also Redboys, you still haven't explained to me why the hell you only have 20 hours playtime. On our stats page, but also on gametracker. So it's not the stats page's fault, I guess you must really have only 20 hours playtime.


    Does anyone here know Redboys and can confirm he's been playing "a lot" on our server?

    You hacked. You were spotted by several trusted players/members/admins, there are 2 demos proving you hacked.
    And then you even admitted on forums that you hacked (cf HD's post).


    No unban. It's clearly specified in our rules that we have ZERO tolerance for cheaters, and the same treatment is applied for everyone who cheats => Permanent ban.
    Think twice before cheating on a server you like next time. Maybe this will make you think about how lame cheating is.

    Laugh never was in the rotation. It's only in the general map list, so trusted players/members/admins can call votes for it. It can a be a funny map to play on once in a while, but definitely doesn't fit the KTK gameplay and is way too painful for assassins, so it will never be put in the rotation.


    Btw I'm not sure the !vote command is working currently? Can trusted players or members testify? Is it working, or if it's not, what does it say when you use it? No perms to execute, or unrecognized command?
