it is not that hard at all and once done you are good to go.
md5 sum is just to keep it fair.
nobody needs to run a modded skinpack on the hardcore server as any modification can result in an unfair advantage.
even just applying a brighter color of any kind can result in a better/more clear visable enemy.
besides that you can make use of the screenshot option again. ( even tho windows 7/8 and some cfg settings can block it ) it would be quite useful to catch hackers.
so in my opinion: apart from the fact that people might struggle with installing punkbuster properly ( which can be solved by providing a noob proof detailed guideline ), there are more positive features you can get out of it.
The thing is, 1% of the players actually check the forums, and even less would take the time to install PB. They would just join another server because they wouldn't want to take the time to bother with this kind of things.
Also, the md5 check kicks all french players (well at least all those who have the french files in the "main" folder).

Actually it can't really be solved, it's a cod4 engine problem (too many xmodels (xmodels from the map and the mod exceed the limit)).
Though Viking I don't understand, compared to 2.09.30, you added one model (Javelin) and removed 2, so why does backlot crash on .31 and not on .30? Or maybe I forgot something that you added?

It feels like we're getting a lot of bad stuff from RTD. It's good to have some bad stuff, otherwise there would be no point in it, but I think it was good when there was only WTF which was bad.
Now I think we can get as many bad stuff as good stuff, and it really sucks IMO. With WTF + the thing that makes your screen rotate (I get this very often), and other stuff that I don't really remember.
Anyway, I suggest to reduce a lot the chance to get that thing that makes your screen rotate, and maybe also a bit the chance to get WTF.
I can't remember the other negative stuff you can get from RTD but maybe there are other things of which the appearance could be reduced.
I think currently, no one is using RTD anymore

What do you mean, as in the old version? I never had this problem on 2.09.27 and 2.09.30, and I've played for dozens of hours.
Maybe it's a problem on UA then, if it was already happening before 2.09.31.

I was reported this exploit with king suicide. If it's fixable without removing the MOTD & Rules button it's nice, otherwise just remove it I guess
I was also reported that sometimes extra lives don't work as they should. Apparently sometimes you revive someone, then get killed and you don't respawn as guard. And sometimes you don't revive anyone, and get killed and respawn as guard.
The guy also told me that some people said they were spawning stuck in the texture at the beginning of a round sometimes. But he said it could have been the fault of the map (he didn't remember the map name). So all in all, doesn't seem to be a big issue (if ever it exists).
Little improvement idea (dunno if you're still willing to update some stuff - I'll still write what I think of, to get it out of my head ) :
When the vote ends, would it be possible to quickly display (for 2 sec maybe) the number of people who voted for each map (next to each line)? And maybe also the number of people who didn't vote. This would help understanding which maps players like the most, and which maps aren't liked at all.
PS: @IHDI Actually I had not thought of this, but it's easy to get CP as assassin: Just pick this hardpoint as guard, and don't use it when you get it, then when you die you still have it when you respawn as assassin. +possibility to get it from box +possibility to get it via killstreaks. So yeah easy to get

- Removed mp_arbor from rotation (I don't think it was very good for the mod, and server population was dropping every time the map was chosen). You can still call votes for it.
- Added mp_luna2, the remake of mp_luna.
- Removed mp_luna from rotation (I think luna2 is better, and also a glitch was discovered on luna which allowed guards to camp and kill from inside a camping spot (walls are invisible from inside), awful for assassins).

I totally agree with you on this. But it seems like it's not the opinion of many members/players, and I myself barely play S&D at all (or any regular CoD4 actually ), so maybe I'm not the best person to decide. So I decided to gather opinions

Actually it isn't unfair because,
- you need 5 kills to get a CP
- it's only 1% and there can be enough crap in it
- most of our players don't realise they have one (earned it) or they don't even get one because they rush and get killed
We have many new Players and we have many good Players, in my opinion it's fine. If it's really goes out of hand, you still can disable it

Making it even more unfair when it happens to you Actually I only played a few rounds, maybe 5, on another server, I was king once, and after 2 minutes, even though I was doing well, bam I'm dead What I dislike about this is that you really can't do anything about it. As assassin it's no big deal to die, but as king it really sucks
All in all, yes it's not a big deal, but when it happens (I guess I was bad lucky, it happened really quickly to me), it really sucks IMO
And I can't choose in config what we get in CPs. Well if I really want to change this, I could edit a file I guess.

Okay now, I was playing updated version of KTK. And its great to be honest.. But there is glitch or i don't know what that is because I still couldnt find out.. But the glitch is King kill himself by some how without grenades or anything else.. Some players figured that out and it's annoying as fuck(sorry for bad lang.).. Maybe you guys could find that out..

I'm not sure to understand what you say. Do you mean that in 2.09.31, if the king chooses grenades in Unlockables, he can use it and wait until it explodes and kill himself?
Or you mean that he can kill himself just like that, without using anything, and you don't know how?

Otherwise, if he's also never on TS, Mirko could you maybe remove his server rank? I don't know him at all, but it's not the first time he kicks people like that, and I have no way to get in touch with him. And having people with perms on our servers acting like this is not good for us.
So, I would like to finally specify a rule about camping.
Personally I have nothing against camping, because I think campers are most often not that hard to kill. They kill you once, you know where they are, you go back after respawn and kill them.
The only exception would be if the player camps in "attack" in S&D, because it can be annoying if you have to run all around the map to actually find the guy and finally end that boring round.
So I would write the rule like this maybe :
"Rule #8 - Don't camp too much in "attack" in S&D."
It needs to be rephrased because said this way it's ugly, but you get the idea.
So camping would be allowed in all other cases.
If you disagree with this rule, if you want to add other cases where camping would be forbidden, please explain the reason(s) why, and suggest your own phrasing of the rule.
If no one writes a post here in the next week or so, the rule as I wrote it will become official, and you won't be allowed to punish for something else than what it says (i.e. for now, camping in attack in S&D).
And if you punish while you shouldn't, I'll kick your ass Because I let you the chance to suggest modifications to this rule.
The MOAB is in the carepackage for the assassins too.
The chance to get it is the same for both teams (exactly 1 percent).

The reason why I don't like it is that I find it unfair for the king, it's just completely random and anyone can get killed for basically no reason, just bad luck coz an assassin got MOAB, even if he's doing really good as king, he can die just like that.

I think you mispelled it. It's indeed not in the "rotation" (the vote list), but it's in the MAM maps list, which means you can put it through MAM cmds (!vote map backlot or !map backlot).

One: why don't we have music on ktk? anything would be fine.
Two: why is the map blacklot not in the maprotation? it's a classic ktk map.

One: Because it would be freaking annoying, always the same music all the time? Ugh. Better listen to a playlist while playing if you want music. Moreover people have different music tastes, there would always be many people disliking the music. And last but not least, KTK is not like CJ or DR, we need the sound to hear what's going on (shooting, walking, etc).

Two: It's not a classic KTK map, it's a classic shiity map for the mod
I removed it because it's way too easy for guards and way too annoying for assassins. Trusted players can still call votes for it if they want to play it though. But really, you go underground in that house, and assassins can't do anything against this camping place, because it's impossible to wallbang. Even if there is only the king + 2 good guards remaining, they can easily kill every assassin trying to get downstairs.

Btw, assassins can't get MOAB from CP, right? I remember someone reported on this thread that they could (on a .31 version). I don't remember whether you had fixed it. So actually I don't even know if the guy who called MOAB was an assassin or a guard, if that problem still exists.
