Could you check whether you can find the CD-key you're using somewhere on the internet?
Because it sounds like that perhaps someone might have randomly picked that CD-key and got banned on one of the 3xp servers...

    Chapter 8

I created my name around 6-7 years ago.
I wanted to change my name which I often used in games because the name I had before was simply too long for most other games than Cod 1 United Offensive which I've actively played for 6 years before I went to cod4.
My previous name was 'not me, but another guy', the reason how I came up to that name is pretty silly because when you killed a player in Cod 1 United Offensive you always saw 'You killed <name>' on screen so whenever someone killed me that person would see 'You killed not me, but another guy' which back then I thought it was a hilarious joke...

Also when people would hit me up in chat they would call me 'not me'... which... I also found hilarious back then...

Anyway, so I really wanted to change because it was too long for most other games.
But I really wanted it to be unique so my name wouldn't look too much like other names.
Back then I really liked to play frisbee in the summertimes, so that's why I thought about using that as my name.
However I thought that only 'frisbee' didn't sound nice so after some thinking I descided to put 'sky' after it, mainly because 'frisbee' and 'sky' are pretty related to each other and it also sounds good when you would say it.

Now people often call me just 'Fris', which makes me feel like being called out sometimes in some Dutch commercials :P

Anyway, that's basically the story of how I came up to FrisbeeSky.
Maybe I will ever short it to just 'Fris', mainly because it has a different meaning (which I kind of like though) and 'frisbee' is not really related anymore since I haven't played that in the last few years already, but hey, that kind of leads me to the question what name you people would give me if I would just have a 'blank' name when I came into this (cod4)(cj)community, but maybe that's an other interesting topic when this one is pretty much dead.

    Fris

P.S. I'm quite wondering now how 'Naked' ever came up to his name... :- p

I would put 'Offtopic', 'YouTube', 'Tutorials' (which are under 'Other') to under 'General' since I don't think they are not much different from the subthemes which are currently under 'General'.

    The rest looks good.

Edit: why is 'Map Relases' (yes, that typo is there too :3) different alined compared to the other subthemes? :p

Quality standarts for montages are really high these days. I can see it being really nerve wracking to make a big montage now, but you make it sound like you're losing motivation to start the editing part, which is usually like the first sign of a montagemaker starting to care less about how the montage goes. I don't know what family problems you're going through and how bad it is. Either way I'd like to see a little more communication between you and the montagejumpers. You do communicate quite a bit, I know that, but just informing maybe about your thought proccess behind the editing part instead of links to your walls of texts about when do you feel like you could possibly start the editing part. You have to admit 8 months long demo collection time is highly above avarage.

About those guys who you talked about that sent their demos to multiple montages without telling that to anyone, maybe call them out publically so that they would know that it is bad to do that. You know who those people are i guess.:) <3

I indeed have a lack of motivation to start the editing part, the personal real life reasons do play a role in that too. At the moment I rather want to focus more on those personal real life reasons than the montage, but I definitely still care about the montage, my interest for that project has been running for 2 years already and that ain't gonna go down that easily. I can tell those 'personal real life reasons' are not family problems, the familiy part of me saying 'inb4 until Tuesday I won't be able to reply due to christmas things with family etc.' was just to say that I would be afk until then, meanwhile letting this topic progress further.

    Okay,

Now about informing people more about the thoughtprogress:
The first thing worth mentioning is that TIME is just a subproject of a total project, I mean, I would never start spending hours into a spreadsheet, which is likewise TIME; another subproject of the total project, attempting to list all the montagejumps of montageworthful videos just for one montage such as TIME.
If I would explain the participants the thoughtprogress behind that it would result in hours long conversations such as I've had with one person a year ago which is totaly not worth it. Doesn't that sound like an unrealistic project? oh ye absolutely, right now the idea of that project is too big too realise, but that's also another reason why I had to take a break in the progress of TIME; right now, beside those real life personal problems, I am also rethinking that 'total project'. I am pretty sure anyone reading this would be like 'what the fuck is fris trying to say?', but that's mainly because I haven't shared any information about this thoughtprogress with anyone beside that one person who I spoke a year ago and who I like to keep anonymous, a thoughtprogress which has been running since March 2015. This post is also the first time I publically say that there is even something as I just described.

Further more; as I already did in the main post I admit 8 months long demo collection time is highly above avarage, therefor another reason why I created this topic.
About creating a list like sv_fps or calling out those people in another way who sent their demos to multiple montages without telling that to anyone; maybe something to think about, but hard to realise since we are talking about people who sent their demos to multiple montages without telling that to anyone, if people send their demos to multiple montages and also let all the montagemakers to who they sent their demos to know that they did that, then I don't see a problem in that since montagejumpers have to deal with a kind of preasure which I described in the main post. As I also said; montagemakers are the ones who can control that in the most possible fair way.
