I saved a lot of money the last few months, and came to the conclusion I was able to buy a whole new PC.

They'll deliver my PC parts tomorrow (all together).

Specs:
CPU: i5-4570
GPU: Gigabyte N770 (3x windforce)
PSU: Seasonic 520W
Mobo: MSI B85 G41 PC Mate
Screen: LG 22EA53VQ-P Black
Cooler: Gelid Solutions Tranquillo Rev.2
Case: Cooler Master N300
HDD: Seagate 7200rpm 1TB + old WD Green 1TB 5200rpm.
Ram: Crucial Ballistix BL2........ 8GB (2x4 stick)

Anyways, that's my build and I'm probably going to test it tomorrow.

Stop the damn bullshit about playing on windows ok? I also have a windows but I rarely use it due to it's not used to game + I have windows on my Mac but I've heard more users that are on Mac about it. I don't think that this is a windows-mac topic.

Plus, I know that Windows is better. (On some aspects)

@Mirko, No. Every server that uses the color strings in folder names of the mod are not working. But for example when #removeds testserver was up, it was working due to there are no color strings in the folder name.

I guess I've to look into the cod4 of the iMac and maybe I can find the problem.

Hello everyone.

Since I am a mac user, I'm having this really annoying problem with the redirect.
When you're downloading redirected files from the 3xP' server, they'll download at 12kb/s. That is because we use ^ color strings in our mod folder names.

I know it's possible to fix, but it has to be fixed from our side. We have to rename all the mods to just normal folder names without color strings.

I guess Mirko or anyone doesn't want to do it. (Just from ^13xp^0_^3deathrun - > 3xp_deathrun)

So I'm really annoyed when the redirect is updated, because you're to manually download the files.

I've heard some people complaining about this. There is a small amount of Mac users here, but it's just a temporary fix for them.

And here's how to do that:

- Open your favorite server browser and go to: Index of /mods/
- Click on the mod you want to download.
- Download all files in the mod folder (Click on them)
- Go to finder
- Use shortcut: SHIFT+CMD+G
- Type this: ~/Library/Application Support/Call of Duty 4/mods (Or if you installed cod4 anywhere else, just go to the mod folder)
- Go to the folder that was not downloading ingame.
- Copy your downloaded files and paste them there.
- Reconnect to the server and you're good to go.
