Upgrading my PC

Thats my stuff atm. I can play any game without a problem. (Ultra/High)

The GPU is nice, save up for a Core i5 3350P, works at 3.10 but can be OC'd to 3.4+ and it's a quad core.

Actually I have to disagree.
If you are not used to it you don't like it. I switched from 7 to 8 then to 8.1 and i like it
It is faster, you have more options and it looks better. And there are not so much differences to 7, that you can say "Why do they change everything?"

for gamez upgrade gpu and cpu, though personally i think your cpu is fine.

Depends on what you want specific to upgrade... So like you want better loading times or applications to run faster, upgrade ram and get a ssd..

500w named psu is fine with 760 & 760 is fine for any latest games to date and will probably do fine for the next generation.

Just get a better Mobo and a high end GPU, you'll be fine

Wing, i ran dual GTX 580 on a 500w psu w/ i7 3770k.. Not a problem..

Get an MSI GTX 660, Quad Core i5 or i7 and 500w psu To all of you who are thinking you need 600w cpu for normal pc, you are wrong. I was thinking the same and i got a 620w psu, and my friend sent me this video : How big of a Power Supply do you REALLY need? - YouTube ; 500w is enough Watch all the video and see yourselves..
Ehm going back to your upgrade, if you get the gfx,cpu and psu , you'll be fine I myself use a 19" screen and i prefer it over widescreen ones for gaming.. But you better off get a better monitor anyway and a P67 motherboard

the r9 270x is a good choice
the version i bought cost arround 170€ and included bf4, which run with 100fps on ultra @ 1920x1080

Well i can play bf3 on Ultra up to 90 fps with : CPU AMD 5600k Trinitiy ( which isnt good for gaming but yh )
But i bought a new Grafic card the XFX Radeon hd 7870 DD. You should know the Nvidia cards are better to play games like BF3 and BF4 games like that and AMD is good for Games like Anno, Skyrim etc. And if any 1 tell you to update your ram up to 16gb dont listen. 8gb is enough.

Nah, no athlon II.. You'll lose too much.. And grab a "known" PSU.. Never heard of Huntkey.. Unknown PSU's blow too easy..

Seasonic is a good brand. Recommend it over that crappy sounding Huntkey.. And Athlon is getting old and is kinda out dating.
