Sorry if i am being a bit stupid here, but my chat is missing. I can see all of the server messages, but no chat. I cant see anything when i type something either. Have i accidentally turned something off?

Sounds a bit strange, normally when you disable your chat, you can still see what you type (cg_chattime).
Maybe the easiest would be to create a new config and copy over the binds from the old one.
And make a backup if you have everything working again. -
Everything is back now. No idea what was wrong. I just couldn't see when people were speaking. I could see the server messages, but nothing else. Thanks for responding though guys
