If anyone can help me with skinning gold on guns it would be greatly appreciated! For some reason the gold varies in style and texture in COD4. Sometimes when I use the Ak47 skin it looks nice and realistic. However, the Gold Deagle always stands out and shines. Whenever I use the gold deagle skin, the color always look bland and metallic. It is very obvious which skin the color came from. If anyone could give me a skin/texture that is shiny and a glossy gold it would be greatly appreciated! Since I'm fairly new to skinning, a few tips of guidance would really help.
The rusty/realistic one was the skin from the AK47
The Gross metallic skin was from the Gold deagle (which the deagle looks great, and mine doesnt for some reason)
