Can someone please help me, my minecraft keeps failing to open with an error like 'Unable to find OpenGL Mode' and 'Bad Video Drivers'.
But i have upgraded them and it still isnt working. ive looked at Minecraft forums and none of the suggestions are working.
Can anyone helpl?

do you have an internal graphic gard in your pc/laptop.
Some cheap internal cards doesn't support OpenGL
yep, that could be a problem.
But i can't help you, because I've Win 7 
Im going to downgrade, it was a really bad idea installing Win8 
I have a Win7 Desktop and a Win8 Laptop.
All Win8 has done is caused me problems, yet I'm too lazy to downgrade.
From my experiences, i'm going to guess Win8 is the problem.

I had the same problem one year ago, OpenGL, Java Virtual Machine Error.
I can not play more Minecraft or other games using OpenGL or Java
needed. My tip:
For me everything worked again after I completely reset my computer, backed up all data before, etc. Then I have the latest drivers installed it and running it directly back to the way it should be.

Creepax, I wasn't the one with the issue, I was just trying to help kronik. 
Fixed the problem now, the graphics driver i needed isnt yet available for Windows 8 so ive downgraded to Windows 7 and it works fine now, Thanks for the help
