I have and it is not write protected? nothing changes in config_mp.cfg

You should add in a different save method, Dumping locations to a .txt file etc as I am having trouble saving/getting coordinates and have had to remake my first map 3 times now :C Other than that this is awesome guys!

This is awesome! Maybe add in some toggleable graphic tweaks, Thats all I can think of for now but awesome job on this guys!
