Why are you setting such a high standard for yourself, I don't mind if there are some jumps that are less hard than others in a montage.
But then again it's your montage and your opinion.

Asset manager needs a texture with a power of 2, like @Arkani said. Otherwise it will not compile the texture, but it's weird because it seems to work for you on a texture which is not having a power of 2. So yeh, try 16x16.

So I have been playing around in radiant again and i'm planning on finishing this map but don't know how long it will take.

This is what i use to change skyboxes and it works for me, but it has been a long time since i installed a different skybox
P.s. this changes every skybox

Not sure if it works on the extreme, but what i did is slightly different than the vid i think since I changed all the .iwd files in the main folder of cod4.
