Don't know about your problem Jxxkr, but I have problem that everytime when I start game, it's locked on 60 or 30fps.

Game crashing after downloading maps/mods is a cod bug. Locked fps might be a vsync issue?

If you download Cod4x, the game will no-longer crash when you download maps/mods. Also fixes issues with FPS from my experience. If you don't have it, worth trying it out Jxxkr

Windows 10 also has a feature called 'Focus assist', which I would recommend disabling. It caused serious lag/freezes for me when I pressed W,A,S or D... otherwise it would be perfectly fine

Mine problem was something with vsync, but its already fixed. Very easy
